Prof. Dr. \u00d6zdemir, sismik izolasyonun yap\u0131lar\u0131n zelzeleye dayan\u0131kl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 art\u0131rmadaki kritik rol\u00fcne de\u011finerek, T\u00fcrkiye’nin sars\u0131nt\u0131 ger\u00e7e\u011fiyle y\u00fczle\u015fmesi gerekti\u011fini vurgulad\u0131. Sismik izolasyonun binalar\u0131 nas\u0131l sars\u0131nt\u0131dan korudu\u011funu vurgulayan \u00d6zdemir, \u201cTemel d\u00fczeyinde \u00fcst yap\u0131 ile temel ortas\u0131na yerle\u015ftirilen bir ekip yap\u0131sal materyaller kullan\u0131larak ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftiriyor.
